In 2018 studeerde Liesanne van Dongen af aan de opleiding Musicaltheater op Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten met een stage in de musical My Fair Lady. Zij startte als on stage swing en was later ook te zien in de rol van Mrs. Eynsford-Hill.
Haar passie voor theater begon al op jonge leeftijd. Ze startte met Ierse dans toen ze 5 jaar oud was. Hiermee werd ze in 2008 Europees Kampioen. Ook stond ze op diverse poppodia met haar Pop Rockband. Haar passie voor musical ontstond echter pas op de opleiding toen ze 3 passies kon combineren: zingen, dansen & acteren.
In de zomer volgde ze een extra opleiding aan het London Studio Centre in Londen.
In 2018/2019 was Liesanne te zien in de musical Evita van De Graaf & Cornelissen Entertainment. Vorig jaar stond zij in voorstelling Jeans als zangeres en danseres, waar ze ook komend jaar mee langs alle theaters in Nederland tourt.
Naast het uitvoerende deel in het vak ontwikkelt Liesanne zich ook als docent en choreograaf. Sinds augustus 2020 is ze docent op de Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in de dansstijl Tap.
In Maart en September 2020 stond ze met haar eigen geschreven voorstelling “Gewoon Gewoon” in het tapastheater in Amsterdam. Een muziektheatervoorstelling geregisseerd door Caroline Frerichs. Een van de nummers die ze zong in deze voorstelling viel erg in de smaak bij het publiek en deze cover van Blof (WRAAK) is dan ook te beluisteren op Spotify.

In 2018, Liesanne van Dongen graduated from the Musical Theater course at Fontys University of the Arts with an internship in the musical My Fair Lady. She started as an on stage swing and later appeared in the role of Mrs. Eynsford-Hill.
Her passion for theater started at a young age. She started Irish dance when she was 5 years old. She became European Champion in 2008. She has also performed on various pop stages with her Pop Rock band. Her passion for musical, however, only arose during the training when she was able to combine 3 passions: singing, dancing & acting.
In the summer she took extra training at the London Studio Center in London.
In 2018/2019 Liesanne appeared in the musical Evita by De Graaf & Cornelissen Entertainment. Last year she performed in Jeans as a singer and dancer, with which she will also tour all theaters in the Netherlands next year.
In addition to the performing part in the profession, Liesanne is also developing as a teacher and choreographer. Since August 2020 she has been a teacher at the Fontys School of the Arts in the dance style Tap.
In March and September 2020 she performed her own written performance “Just Just” in the tapas theater in Amsterdam. A musical theater performance directed by Caroline Frerichs. One of the songs she sang in this performance was very popular with the audience and this cover of Blof (REVENGE) can therefore be heard on Spotify.
Liesanne is currently playing in the successful musical The Prom.
